GAZAL AL SHAQAB

Scottsdale, 2012

Gazal Al Shaqab (Anaza El Farid x Kajora) has an exceptional pedigree and a grand show record. The 1998 Egyptian Event Supreme Champion, 2005 U.S. Reserve National Champion Senior Stallion and Scottsdale Reserve Champion Stallion, Gazal Al Shaqab has made his mark with his pedigree and as an individual. Still, he will be remembered best as the sire of international champion and leading sire *Marwan Al Shaqab. Such is undoubtedly the blessing and the curse of a truly great sire.

At the 2012 Scottsdale show the Gazal Al Shaqab son, *Hun (x Hula) won the Classic 8 & Older Halter Stallion class. Imported from Poland in 2005, *Hun is multi-Regional champion and was a U.S. National Top Ten Senior Halter Stallion in 2010. AE Avatar (x Crimson Princess) took Scottsdale Top Ten honors in the Classic 3 & 4-Year-Old Stallions. The Gazal Al Shaqab daughter, Jenan Al Shaqab (x Aliaa Al Shaqab) was second in the International Yearling Halter Fillies (senior division), Anastazia (x Lumiars Love Song) took a Top Ten in the Classic 3-Year-Old Halter Mares, and Elle Gazal (x Emanorah) was third (Top Ten) in the Classic 3 & 4-Year-Old Halter Mares AAOTH.

In the Scottsdale performance classes SRW Goddess of Gazal (x Doskatanya V) was the Reserve Champion in the SSS Hunter Pleasure Futurity (3 & 4-Year-Olds) and took numerous ribbons in Hunter Pleasure Junior Horse, Maiden and Novice.
